Wonder

Wonder is music heard in the heart, is voiceless.
We can't hear wonder with our ears, or see it with our eyes.
It's something that goes on in our hearts.
It's the process of translating something that might ordinarily seem
mundane into something spectacular.
It's recognizing the divine within everything and everyone. |

Children have this wide-eyed sense of wonder, everything is new to them,
everything is a surprise.
If we could just see through their eyes again for a day… look at a line of
ants as a parade rather than a nuisance, see the clouds as dancing rather
than threatening rain… how might this change our perspective?
Wonder brings with it a sense of contentment, the world looks good and
we feel good in it!
We can learn a lot from our kids. |
